Our History
The journey of Sawitri Enterprises began in 1989, when our founder, Late Inderjeet Shah, started manufacturing helmets in a small workshop in Kirari Nangloi, Delhi. With a strong belief in road safety and quality craftsmanship, he laid the foundation of what would later become a trusted helmet manufacturing brand.
In 1996, Sawitri Enterprises was formally established, marking the beginning of a focused mission to produce reliable, affordable, and safety-certified two-wheeler helmets for Indian riders. From producing our first helmet with limited resources to developing a modern manufacturing facility spanning over 50,000 square meters, the company has grown tremendously over the years.
Today, Sawitri Enterprises has the capacity to manufacture over 1.8 million helmets annually, serving millions of customers across India through a strong nationwide distribution network.
The company is now led by Mr. Rajesh Prasad, son of our founder, who continues to expand the business with innovation, advanced technology, and a clear vision for the future.
While we currently focus on the Indian market, our long-term goal is to expand internationally, bringing Made-in-India helmets to global riders and establishing Sawitri Enterprises as a recognized global safety brand.
